I'm Alice,

…a SEND parent and lawyer. I know how overwhelming and emotionally draining the SEND Tribunal process can be—because I’ve been there both personally and professionally.

Families I’ve worked with tell me that they:

  • Worry they will make mistakes because they don’t know the law or the language used

  • Find the process confusing and struggle with understanding how it works

  • Aren’t sure about the best way to put their child’s case across

I’ve written this course to take you from overwhelmed to organised so that you can independently and confidently advocate for your child.

Gain Clarity

Know your legal rights, the Tribunal’s expectations, and where to begin.

Be Confident

Understand exactly what to do and how to do it,  and how to handle challenges calmly.

Feel Empowered

Advocate effectively for your child without second-guessing yourself.

Does what you're facing feel impossible?

You don’t understand the law and you’re scared of getting it wrong.

The Local Authority keeps pushing back and you feel powerless.

The paperwork is overwhelming—you don’t even know where to start.

You’re exhausted, confused, and terrified of letting your child down.

Every child deserves the chance to thrive—and every parent/carer deserves the tools to make that happen. You don’t have to feel lost in the SEND system. With the right support, you can take control of the process and advocate powerfully for your child.

You’re not alone in this – guidance from lived and legal experience

As both a lawyer and a SEND parent I’ve walked this path for my clients and for myself helping hundreds of families to navigate the system and secure the support their children need.

With a law degree from Oxford, nearly a decade as a barrister, and volunteer roles at leading SEND charities IPSEA and SOS!SEN, I bring both legal and lived expertise to everything I do.

I’m also proud to be a BAPS (Bloody Awesome Parents) Award nominee.

My approach is clear, calm, and practical—so you feel supported, not swamped.

You don’t have to face this alone—I’ll show you how to become the confident advocate your child needs and deserves.

“What I needed the most during this difficult time was someone with a thorough understanding of the law who could explain it in a way I could actually understand.

I would not have been able to get through this tribunal without her friendly and accessible approach, which also gave me the confidence I needed on the day."
